Integrative minimalism
The feeling of security is one of the basic human needs, especially when it comes to one’s own home. As an ideal barrier, door intercoms reveal who is at the door even before it is opened. The Gira System 106 is a home intercom system characterised by simple elegance that combines the functions of a doorbell, camera and intercom for reliable protection. The shapely unit combines modern technology and purist design, and was conceived in such a way that it can be integrated flush into the house facade. During development, the high requirements of DIN 18015 were taken into account, which presupposes intact building envelopes for energy consumption and demands airtight installation without thermal bridges. The flush-mounted version of the Gira System 106 meets the high demands in all respects and enables seamless installation in the house facade – even with a composite thermal insulation system. The result is a self-contained appearance of high aesthetics and clarity. Not only do six different available finishes contribute to this, for example in brushed stainless steel, aluminium, matt or shiny bronze, but also the modular design of this high-tech door communication system, as it offers individual configurations and vertical or horizontal mounting – and thus a flexible customisation of functions.

Complemented by the quality of the materials used and the flexibility with which the various modules can be precisely mounted, the Gira System 106 fully meets the need for convenience and increased security.
