Pandemic concierge service
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CDC and WHO warned that the elderly and people with disabilities or compromised immune systems are the most vulnerable. While many were receiving help from family members, not everyone had family nearby. The Sam’s Club Concierge service was created, developed, and operational in six days—two weeks after shelter-in-place went into effect. The service made it safe for members to continue shopping for their essential items, optical and pharmacy needs—all without stepping out of their vehicles.
