The Tales of Batik
Office

The design for a green building with modern office space that reflected Indonesia’s cultural heritage was inspired by the Concentrix business strategy “Global Consistency with Local Intimacy.” The designers called the concept “Tales of Batik” and used various elements of Indonesian batik for the interior. The challenge was how to combine the traditional with the modern in one place. Bright colors created a modern look, while reused and recycled materials were used to incorporate local and traditional elements. Energy efficiency was also of particular concern. This design received Greenship Platinum certification from Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI).
